MICHALKI PIE

Michalki are polish sweets. These are kind of a chocolates with peanut stuffing. I decided to make a tart with brownie bottom and michalki cream. I hope you will find something similar to these sweets if you're not from Poland, because the tart is worth it!;)

Ingredients:

For chocolate brownie bottom:
  1. 3 dark chocolates
  2. 225 g butter
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 275 g powder sugar
  5. 135 g flour
For Michalki cream:
  1. 500 ml heavy cream
  2. 280 g Michalki chocolates (as in the picture) or similar ones
  3. A bit of powder sugar to sweeten the cream (the amount as desired)

Instructions:

For chocolate brownie:
  1. Melt down the chocolate with butter in double boiler. Then leave it to cool down.
  2. In a different bowl whip the eggs with powder sugar until fluffy. When the chocolate is no longer hot, add it to the egg mixture. Mix until combined.
  3. Add flour and again mix until combined.
  4. Put it into a cake-pan and then into the oven heated to 160 C. Take out after 20 min and leave to cool down.
For Michalki cream:
  1. Blend the chocolates (leave a few for decoration) with a hand blender until they become a thick choclate mass.
  2. Whip the cream and add the Michalki mass. Then add powder sugar, but you don't have to if the cream is already enough sweet.
  3. Put the cream on a brownie and decorate with cut Michalki chocolates.

So that would be it! I hope you like it and if you decide to do this- good luck and bon appetit!!!
